The Honda GL1000 was first introduced and produced in 1975. The 1975 GL1000 is powered with water-cooled "flat four" engine that displaced 999 cc and equipped with shaft drive system.

The following manual provides detail procedures for maintaining, servicing, repairing and troubleshooting the Honda GL1000 1975 – 1979 model years. This workshop manual is divided into 18 sections covering topics on service information, maintenance operations, tune-up, engine removal and installation, engine top end repair, engine lower end repair, lubrication system, cooling system, fuel system, clutch, transmission, final drive, frame and suspension, brakes and wheel assemblies, electric starter, ignition, lights, switches, and instruments, battery and charging system.
